about

After suffering a severe case of RSI from excessively performing traditional Hawaiian folk music at various Canadian airport restaurants, another form of Ukulele-based creative expression had to be found. Luckily, the Artist‘s arsenal of Danish granular sampling workstations would serve as a convenient toolset to recreate the food court tunes with one-handed operation only, while staying true to conventional timbres and melodies. Stereo headphones are recommended for an ideal, intimate listening experience at moderate volume.

Mail-in suggestions for vegan and/or homeopathic RSI remedies are welcome and will be forwarded to the Artist’s Shaman on the 15th of each month. Please stamp letters sufficiently.

released December 30, 2020

Created by The Tuesday Night Machines with a Gotharman SpazeDrum Blue, a Little deFormer 3 and an anAmoNo X, using only samples from a Luna Concert Ukulele as audio sources. Yes, even the kicks and snares were made from Ukulele samples. Only a single non-Ukulele sample has slipped into the whole album. Did you hear it?

Gently mastered in Steinberg Cubasis 3 for iPad.
